An Inversion Fair Value Gap (IFVG) is created when a regular FVG is completely ignored and run through.
The Polarity Shift
When price closes past an FVG body, the gap’s polarity flips:
- Bearish FVG broken upwards becomes a Bullish Inversion FVG (support zone).
- Bullish FVG broken downwards becomes a Bearish Inversion FVG (resistance zone).
